For most of the country, Summer is coming to an end. Swim suits are on sale, and Fall clothes are showing up in stores.
Here in Arizona it’s still blazing fireballs, so it’s the perfect time to pick up a cute swim suit for next to nothing.
But that also means I still have to watch my figure.
I know what you’re thinking… “How can she watch her figure when she makes treats like these!?”
Well my friend, I have a secret ingredient that cuts back on the amount of calories in these Chocolate Chip Cookie Cheesecake Cups by a lot.
The good folks at Truvia sent me their new Baking Blend to try out, which has 75% fewer calories per serving than sugar!
I know what you’re thinking… “Yeah, but it probably doesn’t taste as good.”
I actually did a taste test comparison. I made these exact same Cheesecake Cups for a bake sale this past weekend and used real sugar. Then I made them again and substituted the sugar for Truvia’s Baking Blend.
They both tasted great! Nobody could tell that they were any different.
These are a perfect treat to serve at any party because it’s already portioned out, and you don’t have to do any cutting.
These mini cheesecakes have a chocolate chip cookie for the crust, fluffy and sweet cheesecake in the center, then topped with little bits of chocolate chip cookie.
It’s like having two desserts in one!
Plus you don’t have to feel guilty about it either. Now that’s a winner in my book.
The only hard part is trying to stop at just one.
Are you excited for Fall and Fall baking? I know I am!
disclaimer: Truvia graciously provided me with a container of their Baking Blend to try out, but in no way required me to write a review of their product. All opinions and thoughts are my own. I was not compensated for this post.
